Ways to Inhabit (The Soil and The Sea) presents us with a spiral shaped body surmounted with a fan shape.
The lower part could be suggestive of a sea shell, an egg or a seed. It seems to bear some tension, it may be full with something growing. It is difficult to ascertain its scale: is it gigantic or microscopic? Is it a deep sea creature, or a very lightweight seed, floating in the wind? Its fan like veil is throbbing with veins. It looks very alive but yet seems immobile.

The spiral carries evocation of growth, and life-cycles. The fan shape acts visually as a diffuser, spreading its wing-like presence around itself. Its assertive yet ambiguous existence invites us to accept the strangeness at work in the world.
