This Symbiont is large ink drawing crafted with a very fine fountain pen. 
Bringing together the vegetal with the mineral and the man-made, Symbiont is an accretion of strange and ambiguous elements. An artefact resembling as much an excavator as vase handles stands at the top of this assemblage. A plump vegetal growth seems to take over the ensemble, pulling away from a carved out mineral formation — maybe a deserted mine?  This isolated form seems to swell like its lively vegetal part, as if drawing water from an unseen underground.
